Upon hiring Will’s Cottage the hirer is agreeing to have read & understood the following terms & conditions:

 

The Term ‘Cottage’ Is Defined As: Will Thorogood, Woodleaze Farm, Stroud, Gloucestershire, GL6 0QA (also described as ‘we’ or ‘us’). The Cottage and car parking spaces around it. Please remain within the boundaries of the cottage and patio area.

The Term ‘Hire Period’ Is Defined As: Use of the cottage from 1pm on the agreed date until 10am on your departure date. Please confirm your required access time on the first day of your hire no later than 48 hours prior to your arrival (07966 924084 or 01453 860278).

Number of Guests: The maximum of 6 guests must not be exceeded

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

  1. Booking Terms and Conditions
    You confirm that the details set out in the Booking Form are accurate and that you will notify us as soon as possible of any changes. You agree and accept that your hire of the Cottage is subject to the terms of the Booking Form and the Terms and Conditions of Hire (together forming ‘the Agreement’).
  2. Hire
    2.1 The booking will be confirmed on receipt of your deposit payment.
    2.2 The Cottage Hire Charge must be paid in full not less than 30 days prior to the Agreed Date. If payment is not received by the relevant date, we shall be entitled to cancel the booking on giving you written notice to that effect and, in these circumstances, clause 3 will apply as though you had cancelled the booking.
  3. Cancellation by Client
    3.1 You may cancel a booking by giving us written notice to that effect and the cancellation will be effective from the date that the notification is received.
    3.2 The following cancellation charges will be payable if the booking is cancelled prior to the first Agreed Date: Loss of deposit if cancelled after the deposit has been paid. If cancelled 7 to 0 days prior to the Agreed Date: 100% of the Cottage Hire Charge.
  4. Children
    Children are welcome at the Cottage but must be accompanied by an adult who will supervise appropriately and, in particular, ensure that any children under the age of 12 remain within the boundaries of the Cottage.
  5. Prohibited Activities
    The Cottage is a non smoking building.
  6. Damage
    You will be responsible for any damage caused to the Cottage (including all fixtures and fittings, furnishings, carpet and equipment) and you agree to notify us of any damage or lost keys prior to your departure. We reserve the right to make an appropriate charge to cover the cost of repairing any damage or replacing any keys.
  7. Pets
    Strictly no pets are allowed at the Cottage other than assistance dogs by prior arrangement with us.
  8. Cancellation by us
    We shall be entitled to cancel a booking by giving written notice if an event beyond our reasonable control renders the Cottage unfit to occupy, in which circumstances any monies paid to us by you at the date of cancellation shall be returned in full.
  9. Liability of us
    9.1 We shall not be responsible for:
    (a) any loss or claim due to mechanical breakdown or failure in electricity supply beyond our reasonable control;
    (b) any loss or damage to any property (including motor vehicles and their contents) brought into the Cottage by any person;
    (c) any injury to or any other loss or claim by any person at the Cottage provided that we do not exclude liability for death or personal injury arising out of negligent act or omission by us.
    9.2 In the unlikely event that we are unable to provide the Cottage in accordance with the Agreement, our total liability to you in connection with such failure will not exceed the Cottage Hire Charge. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  10. Miscellaneous
    10.1 Nothing in the Agreement is intended to confer any benefit on any third party or the right to enforce any term of the agreement.
    10.2 The Agreement represents the entire agreement between us and supersedes any previous agreement whether oral or written. No term of the Booking form may be varied unless agreed in writing and signed by both parties. The Terms and Conditions of Hire are subject to change from time to time in accordance with the Cottage’s business requirements, and the Cottage shall notify any such changes to the Client as soon as possible.
    10.3 The Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
